Intent:
These are a series of logos created to brand the independent art/craft/design studio co-operative Werkstatte, which is loosely based on the Vienna Werkstatte. I referenced ideas of creation and production when using the icon of the hand and played on ideas of a royal emblem by using the crest, the pillar, and the classical plinth.
